A thread is a transcript. A diamond keeps a crystal, everything you know about one thing, written down and kept, and handed to other agents as context for everything you do there. Start a new chat and it already knows. Dispatch four agents and they all already know. Nothing is absorbed behind your back. You choose what gets folded in, and the crystal stays a plain file you can read, edit, or roll back to any version it has ever had.
A diamond is whatever you keep coming back to, real or not. You name them and you tag them. Then type a name or a tag to search, or click any tag to pull up everything that shares it.
A crystal is your file, not the provider's, so it outlives any one model. Switch providers whenever you like and your context comes with you.

Underneath, Daimond splits the world in two. Everything that is yours stays in the browser. The gateway holds only what has to be shared, money and sealed parcels it cannot open.

Runaway protection
Run a team without runaway bills
A workspace that runs many agents at once can, unguarded, spend fast. The danger is not a big monthly total, it is a sudden burst, a fan-out that burns through credit in seconds. Daimond is built to catch the burst, not just tally it afterwards. Four measures work together, and none asks you to set a limit in advance.

Pause and stop, always to hand
Hold every running agent at a stroke, or stop them dead. Pausing halts the spend at once and keeps the work, so you lose nothing by pulling the brake to look.

A brake before the burst
The cost of a fan-out is known before it runs. One that would outpace your own recent spending stops and asks first, with the number on the prompt, so fifty agents can't launch on a slip.

A key per agent, capped
Every agent spends its own metered key, capped against what is genuinely left. No two ever share an allowance, so parallel agents cannot race one past its cap, a whole class of overspend simply cannot happen.

Each model call is priced on your device as it happens. The bill is in front of you as it is spent, never a surprise that arrives later.

Everyone says “private”. Only Daimond lets you prove it. The client is open source, so you can read it, build it, and check it rather than take our word. The privacy is in the architecture, and you can watch it work. The app is compiled from Rust to WebAssembly and runs on your device, your content is encrypted before anything is sent, and the gateway only ever holds a key it cannot use and parcels it cannot open.
- Read the code. The whole client is public. Read it, build it, and check it yourself, licensed source-available so anyone can verify it.
- Check the running site. Every build rebuilds byte-for-byte from that source and is sealed in a public transparency log. Check the running app now, or run
verify/check.mjsfrom the source, to confirm the code you are running is the code we published. - Watch the wire. Open your browser's network panel while you work. With your own key, your chats and files never leave in the clear. Only ciphertext goes to our servers, and you can watch it.
- Leave whenever. Export your whole workspace and identity and walk; nothing is trapped on a server, no account to breach, no content on our side to spill.
Built on Hematite (fe2o3), Oxedyne's from-scratch Rust library. The build is reproducible and every release is logged; an independent audit is next, so in time you need not take even this on faith.

The name
Daimond, said like diamond.
Under pressure, carbon becomes a diamond, clear and lasting. In Plato's Symposium a daimon is a spirit that stands between the gods and mortals, carrying word both ways. Daimond is that go-between for the age of AI. It stands between you and the frontier models, on your side, so their power reaches you without you handing your work to them. Daimond is made by Oxedyne, an independent Rust and web shop in Perth, Australia. We wanted a better way to work with AI, so we built the tool we wanted and use it every day. Nobody has AI figured out yet, us included. We shape Daimond in the open with the people who use it, pointed at one thing. Making AI work for you, not for a platform.
